What Makes Everything Better? Puppies!

Today I visited some of Gromit's relatives -- specifically, a litter of Border Collie puppies from Gromit's mom, Fflur (different dad, so the pups are half-siblings to Gromit).  All the snow and cold lately has made me grouchy, but hanging out with puppies for a few hours really makes me a happy person!  I visited last weekend with Eli in tow -- but forgot my camera.  Today, I had Seth and Julian along, as well as my camera!

So, without further ado, I present you with Lots of Pictures of Baby Border Collies to brighten your snowbound weekend:

The Girls:

1448 Loon

1432 Queechee (and Snow)   1436 Sleeping Queechee

1411 Chocorua   1438 Chocorua

The Boys:

1433 Wildcat wakes up   1447 Sleeping Wildcat

1441 Snow   1452 floppy cozy puppy pile

1416 Okemo   1425 Queechee and Okemo

Based on what her blog says about them I so want Okemo!! I told my boss she needs to take a look at this litter, since if I can't get one I want someone near to to! But she's stuck on Dals. BCs are her second pick breed though, so I've been telling her how awesome your breeder is.

I am so sad Fflur was bred for the last time but half a year too soon for me :(

I thought I had missed out entirely on the possibility of another Fflur pup -- it caught me completely off guard! But in a good way, of course. I'm sorry that it is 6 mos. too soon for you :(.

All that is yet to be determined ... and I still need final sign-up from my family before anything can be certain.

Chocorua's coloring is like Gromit's, no?

Chocorua and Queechee are both red/white bi-color -- technically Gromit is a red TRI (he has copper "points" where white meets red, but they are hard to see now that he is an adult).

I think Deirdre said that she thought Queechee would be a dark red (like Gromit) and Chocorua would be lighter, but I could have them mixed up.
